1 Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance
with these Terms.

• Do not damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site.
• Do not interfere with another person’s use of the Site.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
• Do not use automated tools in a manner that disrupts the Site.

2 Services

The Site provides information about STC VeriShield’s background-screening,
verification, testing-coordination, bankruptcy, civil-record, judgment,
lien, registry, transportation, and related compliance-support services.

Submitting a request, inquiry, or quote form through the Site does not create
a service agreement. A separate written agreement, approved account setup,
authorization process, and service-specific terms govern the actual delivery
of services.

Clients are responsible for establishing and documenting a lawful purpose,
completing required certifications, obtaining required disclosures and
authorizations, applying results consistently, and following all applicable
federal, state, and local requirements.

STC VeriShield does not make the client’s final hiring, contracting,
access, credentialing, or eligibility decision.

3 Intellectual Property

All Site content, including text, graphics, logos, images, page designs,
downloadable materials, and other content, is owned by STC VeriShield,
STC Safety, or their licensors and is protected by applicable laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, display, sell, license,
or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission,
except as permitted by law.

4 Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services, including
the STC VeriShield client portal and STC Safety.

STC VeriShield is not responsible for the availability, content, security,
accuracy, accessibility, terms, or privacy practices of third-party sites.
Use of an external site is governed by that site’s terms and policies.

5 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its public content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STC VeriShield disclaims all express
and implied warranties relating to the Site, including warranties of
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, availability,
accuracy, and non-infringement.

6 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STC VeriShield and its affiliates,
officers, employees, representatives, service providers, and licensors will
not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary,
or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Site.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations.
In those jurisdictions, the limitation applies only to the extent permitted.

7 Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold
harmless STC VeriShield, STC Safety, and their affiliates from claims,
damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your
misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another
party’s rights.

8 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard
to conflict-of-law principles.

Venue, jurisdiction, arbitration, waiver, and dispute-resolution language
should be finalized by legal counsel before publication.

9 Changes to These Terms

STC VeriShield may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version
becomes effective when posted to the Site unless another effective date is
stated.

Continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted constitutes
acceptance of the updated Terms.
